Customer Reviews

"I've lived in Rome for 10+ years and have never tried this place. Boy, was that a huge mistake. Tried it for the first time and the food was amazing! The Brunswick stew is THE BEST in the entirety of Rome. Their sauce is also the best in Rome. Half smoked chicken was moist and had so much flavor. I've tried every other BBQ place available around here and this is the only one that has true country home cooking. None of that corporate b.s. with minimal flavor and no love. This establishment makes you feel like you got in a time machine only to arrive right at your childhood home! The waitresses are lovely sweet ladies that make you feel welcome and the kitchen pushes out delicious food super quick. Thank you Log Cabin for an amazing experience. We will be back!"

"I grew up about 10 miles away but had never been here. Just visited on a trip back to town and I'm just sad of all the times I could have eaten here but didn't. Exactly what a real bbq joint should be (minus one political sign they should probably remove)"

"This is a hole in the wall of a hole in the wall. Burt Reynolds would have called this place the local "choke and puke." Of all the restaurants visited, the cole slaw..... for me, was like momma used to make. The turnip greens were good. The Brunswick stew was not the cookie cutter one like everyone else's. It was a pleasant surprise. Will be going back"

"Amazingly delicious cheeseburger and onion ring. Cozy and wonderful mood to feel southern U.S"

"Absolutely wonderful place off the beaten path. The burgers were amazing, as was the cheese sticks and onions rings! The portions are insanely large for the price. It was delicious. Their Brunswick stew was some of the best I've ever had. Our server, Caylin (sorry for spelling!) was all around one of the nicest and kind people I've met. The place is very small, but don't let it fool you. This place has quality food and worth a visit."

"The sides are great, the bbq not so much. Ordered the sample plate, because why not, and the chicken is cold, tough, and completely unseasoned. The pulled pork is decent but covered in sauce that overides the flavor. The brisket was sauced and marginal. For me the ribs were to sweet and everything was covered in oil, you can see it on the plate. I'm guessing they cover it with tallow but I've never seen it on the plate like that. It's very smokey. Onion rings have a thick batter and are super greasy. Great value."

"This is a nice little surprise outside of town. I found this place while I was looking for directions to another place and thought I'd give it a try. The inside is very small with only a few tables. When I stopped it was Saturday afternoon and there was only one table available. A nice lady was working the counter, taking orders and waiting on tables. The food was good, good size portions and good prices. They also have specials for lunch and dinners written on a chalkboard. I enjoyed my lunch and will return to try other menu items."
